Check which account you have
This guide covers the Rest of Canada site at www.sportsinteraction.com/en-ca, whose Help & Contact footer identifies ElectraWorks Limited. It is not the Ontario or Alberta procedure. For Ontario, use our separate Ontario guide. For an Alberta account, use that account's own support and contract; do not apply these steps. This regional label is not a claim of availability or legality in every other province.
Need protection now?
Do not wait for a withdrawal or the closure notice period before seeking protection. Read self-exclusion below. Keep your gambling blocker enabled; do not whitelist the operator to follow this guide. If access is blocked or signing in feels unsafe, use independent support without visiting the operator.
Close your Sports Interaction (Rest of Canada) account
Request ordinary account closure
The terms, section 18.1 require withdrawing the entire balance, then emailing written notice. Closure takes effect after seven days; you remain responsible for activity during that period. Ordinary reopening is not explained.
Keep your existing records
If safe, save the balance, pending withdrawal and outstanding-bet records outside the account. Do not deposit or gamble to prepare for closure.
Get the current written-contact route
Use official Help & Contact, the destination of the terms' email link. Ask for its current email route for closure. The public reader did not expose an address, so none is guessed here. Merely opening the contact page does not submit a request.
Save confirmation of the action
Specify the Rest-of-Canada account and ask for written confirmation and the effective date. A sent request is not confirmation. Never send passwords, full card details or identity documents in ordinary email; request a secure verification channel if needed. No signed-in flow was tested.
Under sections 18.2–18.5, temporary Facility Closure is different and can retain inactivity fees. Valid outstanding bets generally survive ordinary closure, subject to the legal, market-exit and technical exceptions in section 18.5. Ask how your existing items will be handled; do not assume a payout deadline.
Self-exclude from Sports Interaction (Rest of Canada)
Self-exclusion is separate from closure
Section 20 points to Account → My Details → Responsible Gaming. Exclusion blocks login and betting and voids unsettled bets. You may request a positive balance; indefinite exclusion initiates payment less bonuses, subject to the terms. After a fixed exclusion ends, any return request is reviewed, not guaranteed.
The public protection page states self-exclusion runs from six months to indefinite, but carries a December 2023 review date. Check the actual choice before confirming; this guide does not present those durations as a tested current menu. Its shorter timeout reopens automatically when it ends and is not the same protection.
Keep the confirmation, including scope and duration. Do not assume this covers every operator, and do not gamble to test a restriction. For support away from the account, use urgent help, international support or our gambling-blocker guide.
What self-exclusion actually does (and doesn't)
It is designed to block play for the period you choose. Whether it covers new sign-ups or can be changed early depends on the operator and jurisdiction; follow the platform-specific details above.
Do not assume self-exclusion deletes account data, stops every message, or covers other sites; exact scope varies. Consider account closure, mailbox controls, and a blocking tool as additional layers.
Stop Sports Interaction (Rest of Canada) emails
Stop marketing separately
The privacy policy offers unsubscribe links in marketing messages, account preferences and customer support. Essential account correspondence can continue. Ask about any other marketing channels you receive; an email opt-out is not account closure.
You can also use your mailbox's search, filter, and bulk-delete controls. Review the privacy terms and current price before granting any third-party cleanup tool access to your inbox.
Frequently asked questions
Does closing the account delete my data?
No. The privacy policy states a typical seven-year customer-data retention period starting from the closure request or inactivity. Legal obligations and disputes can extend it; self-exclusion records may outlast the restriction. Data deletion is a separate, qualified request through the policy's privacy contact, not account support. This guide does not promise complete erasure.
What if my account moved to Alberta?
Check existing migration messages and the legal identity on your own account. Do not infer that the old contract still applies. Ask the current account's support about your balance and protections without making a new deposit or opening another account. For other brands, use the platform directory.
