GuardingGamblers exists to provide free, step-by-step guides for permanently deleting gambling accounts. We understand that when you're ready to quit, the last thing you need is confusing instructions or hidden roadblocks.
We've documented account-closure options across the platforms in our directory because we know that different sites have different tricks to keep you hooked. Some make it easy, others make it a nightmare. We tell you exactly what to expect.
Who We Are
This site was created by people who understand addiction firsthand. We're not therapists or treatment centers trying to sell you something. We're just people who've been in the depths of gambling addiction and found our way out.
We don't judge, we don't preach, and we don't pretend it's easy. Addiction is a disease, not a moral failing. Recovery is possible, but it starts with practical steps - like deleting the accounts that make it too easy to relapse.
Why We Do This
Because gambling platforms make billions by keeping you trapped. They use every psychological trick in the book to keep you playing, including making it incredibly difficult to leave permanently.
When we tried to delete our own accounts, we found outdated information, broken links, and deliberately confusing processes. So we decided to create the resource we wish we'd had: clear, current, and honest guides for every major platform.
Our Approach
We review procedures against current official sources where they are available and show when each guide was last checked. When a claim cannot be confirmed, we flag it for review rather than guessing. We're not affiliated with any gambling companies, treatment centers, or recovery programs.
Everything here is free and anonymous, and always will be. We don't sell your data. To keep the site running we do two things, disclosed openly: we built WagerWard, an inbox-cleanup product whose current features, privacy terms, and pricing are listed on its own site — every guide works completely without it — and some book recommendations use Amazon affiliate links. Neither changes what the guides say. We just want to help you get out.
