Privacy
You should be able to look for gambling-harm support without creating another profile.

The short version
- No GuardingGamblers account is required.
- You can use the help pages without submitting your name, email address, gambling history, account credentials, or copied template text.
- We use client-side analytics to measure traffic and site performance. We do not load advertising pixels or social-media trackers.
- We do not sell or rent information about people using this site.
Hosting and security
GuardingGamblers is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes technical requests needed to deliver and protect the site. Those requests can include information such as the page requested, IP address, browser or device information, and request time.
We do not use that infrastructure data to build profiles about gambling behavior. Vercel's own handling of infrastructure data is governed by its privacy policy.
Optional email contact
The platform directory offers an optional email link for reporting a missing platform. If you choose to email GuardingGamblers, we receive the sender address, email headers, and the message or attachments you send. We use that information to respond, maintain the directory, and handle abuse or security concerns.
Email can remain in our mailbox or provider backups until it is deleted, and we do not promise automatic deletion on a fixed schedule. Do not send passwords, full payment details, government identifiers, identity documents, gambling histories, or other sensitive account information.
Platform search and email templates
The platform search downloads the public platform directory and matches what you type inside your browser. Your typed search is not sent to a GuardingGamblers search endpoint, stored in local storage, or added to the page URL.
Template copy buttons place the displayed text on your device's clipboard. The site does not receive what you copy or any changes you make after opening your email application. If a template has a verified recipient, the “Open in email app” action uses a normal mailto: link.
Do not put passwords, full payment-card or bank details, government identifiers, or identity documents into an ordinary email. Use the platform or regulator's current secure route when identity verification is required.
External links and products
Links to regulators, support organizations, gambling platforms, Amazon, and WagerWard take you to another service. The destination receives the normal information your browser sends when following a link and applies its own privacy terms. Some Amazon links may be affiliate links, with a disclosure shown on the page containing those links.
GuardingGamblers does not receive passwords, mailbox contents, payment details, or other information you provide directly to those services.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
GuardingGamblers uses Vercel Web Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, and PostHog to understand page visits, traffic sources, device and browser categories, broad location, and real-user performance. These tools do not receive text entered into the platform search or changes made to email templates.
PostHog is configured for non-identified pageviews, page-leave events, Web Vitals, named interactions, click autocapture, click heatmaps, dead- and repeated-click diagnostics, and session replay. This lets us see which controls visitors use and where a help journey breaks down. Click events and replays can include the visible label and destination of a selected control. Vercel receives pageviews, performance measurements, and named interactions, including static categories when a support call, text, chat, or email control is selected.
Values typed into inputs, text areas, or editable fields are masked in replays. PostHog is configured not to record network request or response bodies, network headers, copied text, or cross-origin frames. Identified person profiles are disabled, and PostHog uses browser session storage rather than persistent PostHog cookie storage. URL query strings and fragments are removed recursively from PostHog event properties before events are sent. Named support events do not send the selected phone number, email address, link label, or user-entered content.
The site does not run an ad network or set advertising cookies. Analytics data is governed by Vercel's analytics privacy information and PostHog's privacy policy. Analytics is used to improve the site, not to create advertising audiences.
