The previous guide incorrectly treated TonyBet as one European product, called its former UK licence suspended, imported a current UK protection route, published an unsupported phone number and fixed hours, and promised a universal email/chat closure process. The UK Gambling Commission's current record says licence 39126 was surrendered on 5 April 2024.

Estonia

Estonia's legal gambling operator list includes Osaühing Tonybet and TonyBet.com. Use the current account support route for account-specific questions and the national restriction below when the goal is stronger protection.

Ireland-facing service

TonyBet publishes Ireland-facing support material. Revenue's remote-bookmaker register dated 30 June 2026 lists licence 1017899 for TONYBET OU / TONYBET.COM. GRAI's current Tonybet notice of intent records an intent to apply, not a granted licence under GRAI's newer regime. Use the regulator record that matches the account and date; do not infer an expiry from the Revenue register's as-of date or treat the GRAI notice as a granted licence.

Ontario — BetGuard

Ontario's regulated sites participate in centralized BetGuard self- exclusion. Use the source-checked Ontario BetGuard guide for current eligibility, identity, duration, account-access, balance, marketing, and reinstatement boundaries. BetGuard is protection across participating Ontario sites; it is not ordinary TonyBet account deletion.

Estonia — national gambling restriction

EMTA's national restriction service covers authorised operators, including TonyBet's listed Estonia-facing service. Current EMTA guidance allows a selected period from six to 36 months before a person may apply for removal. Confirm the submitted start and scope through EMTA rather than treating an operator-support message as national registration.

Ireland-facing TonyBet material

TonyBet's current Ireland-facing safer-gaming article describes support-led timeout and self-exclusion for six months to three years, not liftable during the selected term, with newsletters and promotions stopped. Use only for an account to which that Ireland-facing material applies; the regulator records and account contract still need to be matched as above.

For another location, ask the matching support route for the formal protection contract. Do not import Ontario, Estonia, or Ireland-facing duration and scope.

What self-exclusion actually does (and doesn't)

It is designed to block play for the period you choose. Whether it covers new sign-ups or can be changed early depends on the operator and jurisdiction; follow the platform-specific details above.

Do not assume self-exclusion deletes account data, stops every message, or covers other sites; exact scope varies. Consider account closure, mailbox controls, and a blocking tool as additional layers.
