Close the Ladbrokes Australia account

Entain's current Take a Break and account-closure page says a Ladbrokes or Neds customer can close an account at any time and for any reason.

Entain says ordinary closure does not prevent reopening, but the customer must call to have the account reactivated. If the goal is to prevent reopening, choose a protection instead.

Choose Take a Break, Entain self-exclusion, or BetStop

The current Entain page offers Take a Break from 24 hours through six months. It says account access remains blocked until the whole period ends. Use Punter Assist or contact support.

For a permanent operator restriction, follow Entain's current self-exclusion instructions:

1. sign in to Ladbrokes Australia;
2. open Punter Assist → Safer Gambling; and
3. select Self-Exclude.

Entain says online self-exclusion is immediate, permanent, cannot be reversed, and covers all Entain Australia's bookmakers, including Ladbrokes and Neds. That cross-brand protection does not prove that ordinary closure of one brand closes the other brand's account.

Temporary operator self-exclusion is also available by phone or through the current Northern Territory process. Its current form accepts permanent exclusion or a customer-entered number of months or years; it does not publish a fixed minimum or menu, so this guide does not invent one.
