Close or Self-Exclude from DraftKings

DraftKings documents self-service account closure and a separate support route for permanent deletion. Its self-exclusion terms vary by state and product, so read the options shown for the account rather than assuming one nationwide rule.

Delete your DraftKings account

Close the Account in Settings

  1. Review the balance, open wagers or entries, and records you need.
  2. Select your profile picture, then Account Information > Login & Security.
  3. Scroll to Close Account, complete the form, and confirm your password.
  4. Save the confirmation.

DraftKings says a closed customer can no longer log in. If you also want permanent deletion, use live chat or submit a ticket through the official Help Center and say that ordinary closure is already complete. Ask which records must still be kept for tax, identity, anti-fraud, or regulatory reasons.

No universal identity-document list or 3-to-7-business-day deletion time was published in the official closure source reviewed.

Know Which Products Share the Account

Daily Fantasy, Sportsbook, Casino, and Pick6 use the shared DraftKings login and wallet where those products are available. DraftKings Horse uses a separate login and wallet. Confirm product scope with support before closing if you use both.

Self-exclude from DraftKings

Choose the Applicable Exclusion

Open Account Information > Self-Exclusion and follow the instructions for the state and product. DraftKings lists:

  • 3- and 6-month choices for Fantasy only, except in Connecticut;
  • 1-year and 5-year choices; and
  • other periods where state rules require them.

DraftKings says it cannot shorten a selected exclusion. The support team monitors withdrawals during exclusion, but the exact handling depends on the account. A state voluntary-exclusion program is separate and may cover other named operators.

What self-exclusion actually does (and doesn't)

It is designed to block play for the period you choose. Whether it covers new sign-ups or can be changed early depends on the operator and jurisdiction; follow the platform-specific details above.

Do not assume self-exclusion deletes account data, stops every message, or covers other sites; exact scope varies. Consider account closure, mailbox controls, and a blocking tool as additional layers.

Stop DraftKings emails

Stop Marketing

Ask DraftKings live chat or a support ticket for the current marketing-preference route and use an unsubscribe instruction in a message when one is present. The general address previously published here is used by DraftKings in limited SMS or two-factor-authentication contexts and is not represented as a universal support inbox.

You can also use your mailbox's search, filter, and bulk-delete controls. Review the privacy terms and current price before granting any third-party cleanup tool access to your inbox.

Frequently asked questions

Can DraftKings shorten a self-exclusion?

No. Its self-exclusion overview says the selected period cannot be shortened.

Does closure erase every account record?

Do not assume so. DraftKings distinguishes closure from permanent deletion, and some records can remain subject to tax, anti-fraud, and gaming requirements. Ask support what applies to your account.

Where can I get immediate gambling support?

Use the U.S. and international support options linked from this page. These are support contacts, not DraftKings account-service channels.
