Coolbet self-exclusion status

Estonia's national gambling restriction

The Estonian Tax and Customs Board manages the list of persons with restrictions on gambling, known as HAMPI. Licensed Estonian operators must check the list and not allow a person to gamble in a selected restricted category. The current official instructions support four application routes:

  • e-MTA: the published fastest route, effective no later than the day after submission;
  • digitally signed email: available to a person who can use an accepted Estonian digital-identification method, such as mobile-ID, Smart-ID, or an ID-card; follow the Board's current linked instructions rather than relying on an address copied from another site;
  • an Estonian Tax and Customs Board service bureau: effective within two working days; or
  • a gambling location for games of chance or toto: the operator forwards the application and the Board registers it within two working days after receiving it.

An ordinary unsigned email is not an application.

Stop Coolbet emails

Stop messages without relying on an old contact

Does HAMPI close or delete a Coolbet account?

No. HAMPI is Estonia's national gambling restriction. The official sources reviewed do not say that it closes the account, erases personal data, settles open bets, releases a balance, stops marketing, or guarantees reopening.

Should I withdraw or wait for bets to settle before restricting gambling?

The reviewed sources do not publish how Coolbet handles a balance, pending withdrawal, or unsettled bet after a restriction.
