Choose Great Britain or Republic of Ireland
BoyleSports does not have one legal product boundary for both markets. The current Great Britain Gambling Commission record covers active remote bingo, casino, real-event betting, virtual-event betting, and pool-betting activities for Boylesports Enterprise.
The current Republic of Ireland remote-betting licence covers remote betting plus pool betting on horse racing in the United Kingdom and Ireland. It does not establish an Irish casino, bingo, or poker licence.
BoyleSports calls the ordinary action account closure and publishes a separate Customer Service route for asking to reopen a previously closed account. Closure is not guaranteed personal-data deletion and is not formal self-exclusion.
Do not deposit or gamble to prepare closure
The Great Britain closure source does not publish one result for balances, pending withdrawals, open bets, or bonuses. Irish law addresses money in a licensed remote account but not the timing, payment method, or every open item. Do not place another bet or make a deposit to change an account condition. Ask Customer Service to record how existing items will be handled.
Close your BoyleSports account
Ask Customer Service to close the account
BoyleSports' current closure article directs customers to Customer Service. Its separate reopening article says an ordinarily closed account can be considered for reopening through the same team.
Choose the account's market
Identify whether the account is under the Great Britain or Republic of Ireland contract. Do not apply the Irish refund rule or licensed-product scope to Great Britain, and do not apply Great Britain's casino, bingo, or poker licence scope to Ireland.
Record existing items without gambling
If it is safe to sign in, note the visible balance, pending withdrawal, open bet, bonus, and a non-sensitive support reference. Do not deposit, gamble, or cancel an accepted item to alter the account before closure.
Use a current regional support route
BoyleSports' current contact
article
recommends its webform and also publishes care@boylesports.com, live chat,
0800 220 066 for the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland,
and 1800 220 066 for the Republic of Ireland. The article
describes chat and those regional telephone lines as available 24 hours
a day, every day.
Ask to close the account and ask for the outcome of every existing item. Do not use an international phone number from this guide: current official BoyleSports pages publish conflicting values.
Use a written request for an Irish account
For a Republic of Ireland licensed remote account, section 171 of the commenced Gambling Regulation Act requires closure on a written request and refund of money in the account. Use the current webform or email for a written record. The law does not publish a completion time, payment method, or one result for unsettled bets, pending withdrawals, or bonuses.
Keep confirmation
Save the effective date, a non-sensitive reference, and the written result for existing items. BoyleSports does not publish one universal processing time. If support asks for a security answer or identity material, request the official secure route rather than sending it through ordinary email.
Account Closure Request
Adapt this request to the options the platform currently offers
This template is not pre-addressed. Use the platform’s current official contact route and confirm where this request should be sent.
- Use the current official webform or Customer Service route and include one non-sensitive account identifier
- Keep a copy of your sent email for your records

Personal data is a separate, qualified request
BoyleSports' current privacy
policy publishes
DPO@boylesports.com for privacy rights. It describes a qualified right to
erasure, not guaranteed deletion. Information is ordinarily retained no longer
than seven years after account closure unless legal, regulatory, risk, or other
needs require longer; responsible-gambling and self-exclusion records may be
kept indefinitely.
Keep a privacy request separate from closing access. If identity verification is required, ask the data-protection team for the official secure route.
Online closure may not cover every retail channel
The reviewed closure material does not establish that one online request closes every BoyleSports retail relationship or premises-based record. Name the exact online account and ask Customer Service whether another channel requires a separate action.

Self-exclude from BoyleSports
Choose time-out, BoyleSports self-exclusion, or GAMSTOP
BoyleSports' current self-exclusion setup article places self-exclusion under My Account → Responsible Gambling → Self-Exclusion.
Time-out
BoyleSports calls its time-out control Take A Break. The current definition article says it can cover a specific product or the entire account for one day through six weeks, with access blocked through the selected term. The current setup article places it under My Account → Responsible Gambling → Take A Break. The reactivation article says the account or selected product reactivates automatically when the term ends.
BoyleSports self-exclusion
Account self-exclusion runs from a minimum of six months to a maximum of five years. The setup article says the account is logged out and cannot sign back in after the choice is confirmed. BoyleSports' separate product-break article describes a Player Safety break from a specific product; do not confuse that with account self-exclusion.
After the term ends, BoyleSports' current reactivation article directs customers to the regional telephone lines and says reactivation includes a 24-hour cooling-off period.
For Take A Break or self-exclusion, BoyleSports' current open-bet article says bets placed beforehand remain open until settlement, any winnings go to the account balance, and Customer Service can be contacted about withdrawing them. It does not establish direct withdrawal access during protection or one result for every balance type, pending withdrawal, bonus, product, or ordinary closure. If stopping access is urgent, do not delay exclusion to change a balance or bet.
Great Britain online multi-operator protection
Great Britain users may add GAMSTOP, which covers gambling websites and apps run by companies licensed in Great Britain. Use our source-checked GAMSTOP registration guide for current terms and funds boundaries.
Republic of Ireland register status
The Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland player-safety page still describes Ireland's national gambling-exclusion register as being developed. It is not a current registration action. Use BoyleSports' operator self-exclusion now rather than waiting for a future national route.
Do not test a restriction
After time-out, self-exclusion, or GAMSTOP starts, stay signed out and do not open another account or place a bet to test it. Contact the operator or GAMSTOP through its current official route if access remains possible.
What self-exclusion actually does (and doesn't)
It is designed to block play for the period you choose. Whether it covers new sign-ups or can be changed early depends on the operator and jurisdiction; follow the platform-specific details above.
Do not assume self-exclusion deletes account data, stops every message, or covers other sites; exact scope varies. Consider account closure, mailbox controls, and a blocking tool as additional layers.
Stop BoyleSports emails
Change ordinary marketing preferences or use a protection control
BoyleSports' current privacy policy directs customers to My Account → My Preferences to stop updates or marketing. It does not publish a separate preference-processing time. The policy says marketing communications may continue for up to 48 hours after account closure.
Necessary security, legal, transaction, or safer-gambling messages may still continue. Do not treat a marketing preference as closure, Take A Break, or self-exclusion.
You can also use your mailbox's search, filter, and bulk-delete controls. Review the privacy terms and current price before granting any third-party cleanup tool access to your inbox.
Frequently asked questions
Can a BoyleSports account be reopened?
An ordinarily closed account can be considered for reopening through Customer Service. Time-out, self-exclusion, and GAMSTOP have separate access rules and should be used when preventing access matters.
What does Irish law say about money after closure?
For a licensed Republic of Ireland remote account, commenced section 171 requires refund of money in the account after a written closure request. It does not publish a completion time, payment method, or one result for open bets, pending withdrawals, or bonuses.
Does the Irish licence cover casino, bingo, and poker?
Not on the licence reviewed for this guide. It covers remote betting and pool betting on horse racing in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Do not import Great Britain's broader licensed-product list into the Irish account contract.
Can I join Ireland's national exclusion register now?
No current registration route was published by GRAI during this review. The authority still describes the register as being developed. Use BoyleSports' operator self-exclusion now.
Does closure delete BoyleSports data?
No. Closure and privacy erasure are separate. The privacy policy describes a qualified erasure right and retention that can last seven years or longer; responsible-gambling and self-exclusion records may be kept indefinitely.
