Betsson's current Responsible Gaming page describes time-outs and self-exclusion, and tells users to contact Customer Service for longer or indefinite protection. Sweden: Spelpaus
For an account licensed in Sweden, Spelpaus official guidance offers 10 days, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or until further notice. “Until further notice” lasts at least 12 months. The exclusion cannot be ended early and covers registered gambling with all companies licensed in Sweden.
Spelpaus also stops direct gambling advertising while active. Its official FAQ says money already held by an operator can still be withdrawn by contacting that operator. Spelpaus is not a crisis service and does not replace emergency or emotional support.
What self-exclusion actually does (and doesn't)
It is designed to block play for the period you choose. Whether it covers new sign-ups or can be changed early depends on the operator and jurisdiction; follow the platform-specific details above.
