Record existing items

If it is safe to sign in, note the credit balance, pending withdrawal, bonus, unsettled bet, and any non-sensitive support reference. Do not deposit, gamble, or cancel an accepted item to change the account.

Confirm the scope

Ask whether the action affects only Betcha or whether Betcha will also use its discretionary power to restrict another Entain product. The terms do not establish automatic ordinary closure of a TAB account.

Keep the result

Save the effective date, a non-sensitive support reference, and the written outcome for the balance and each unsettled item. Do not send a password, one-time code, full payment details, or an unrequested identity document through ordinary messaging.

Funds, open bets, and a future account

The current terms allow Betcha to remit all or part of a credit balance, retain it pending instructions, or retain it during enquiries. They require verification for withdrawal and contain conflicting wording about withdrawal outside New Zealand versus an international-bank route. Self-exclude from Betcha New Zealand

Use account-only or multi-venue self-exclusion

Entain New Zealand's current account-only exclusion form covers a TAB account and any other Entain NZ betting account, which includes Betcha. It offers 6, 12, 18, 24, 36, 48, or 60 months, or forever. The restriction begins after Entain receives and processes the form and cannot be revoked during the selected term.

Use the instructions on the current form and send it only to the published Safer Betting route. Share only the information the current official form requires and use an official secure route if additional verification is requested.

Account-only does not cover TAB retail

The account-only form explicitly excludes TAB retail. Entain's separate multi-venue exclusion form is the route for Entain betting accounts plus selected TAB venues and racecourses in a local area. New Zealand does not publish one universal nationwide gambling-exclusion register, so use the form whose stated scope matches the protection needed.
