WOW Vegas publishes conflicting reopening guidance
One current WOW Vegas help page calls ordinary account closure permanent and irreversible. Another page, dated the same day, says a closed account may be reopened after review. Ask support to resolve that conflict in writing before you rely on ordinary closure as a permanent barrier. Formal self-exclusion is the separately named protection control.

Check Sweeps Coins and pending redemptions
Review free Sweeps Coins, any eligible redeemable amount, and pending redemption requests. WOW Vegas says free Sweeps Coins expire after 60 days and may be forfeited when an account is deactivated. It does not say that every remaining coin has cash value or that every reader must redeem first. Its current pending-redemption article says an existing pending redemption continues after a Timeout, Deactivation, or Self-Exclusion. It does not establish one outcome for every balance or every ordinary-closure request.
Open the official support chat
Use the chat route from the current closure and self-exclusion page. Include the account email and state that the request is account closure.
Ask support to resolve the reopening conflict
Request the balance outcome, effective date, reopening rule, and case number before confirming.

Procedure status rechecked August 4, 2026
The support-chat route was found in current official help. The frontmatter verification date remains older because the operator's same-date help pages still conflict on closure permanence, the current privacy surface was not readable in the available access path, and the protected support email could not be independently confirmed.
Closure is separate from personal-data rights
The reviewed closure page does not promise erasure of every identity, redemption, security, tax, or compliance record. Ask through the current privacy route if you also want to exercise a separate data right.

Self-exclude from WOW Vegas
WOW Vegas says self-exclusion may be for an extended period or permanent and cannot end early after it is applied. The reviewed page does not publish the fixed duration list that appeared in the old guide.
Request self-exclusion through support chat and ask for:
- the exact term and start/end dates;
- whether the restriction can end early;
- the effect on free Sweeps Coins, eligible redemptions, and pending requests;
- the effect on marketing; and
- a case or reference number.
Self-Exclusion Request
Request the exclusion period and scope you want

Shorter Take a Break option
WOW Vegas also publishes a self-service Take a Break under My Profile → Spending Controls. The current choices are 24 hours or seven days, and the break cannot be cancelled before it expires. This is a temporary control, not formal self-exclusion.
What self-exclusion actually does (and doesn't)
It is designed to block play for the period you choose. Whether it covers new sign-ups or can be changed early depends on the operator and jurisdiction; follow the platform-specific details above.
Do not assume self-exclusion deletes account data, stops every message, or covers other sites; exact scope varies. Consider account closure, mailbox controls, and a blocking tool as additional layers.
Stop WOW Vegas emails
The current contact-preferences guide documents profile controls for email, phone, WhatsApp, and post. Use those settings for ordinary marketing preferences. Necessary security, redemption, or account messages may still be sent where permitted.
You can also use your mailbox's search, filter, and bulk-delete controls. Review the privacy terms and current price before granting any third-party cleanup tool access to your inbox.
Frequently asked questions
Is WOW Vegas account closure irreversible?
The operator's current pages conflict. The closure page says yes, while the reopening page says a closed account may be reopened after review. Ask support to state which rule applies to the account.
Must I redeem every Sweeps Coin before closure?
The current help does not say that every remaining coin has cash value or that redemption is a universal prerequisite. It says free Sweeps Coins may expire or be forfeited on deactivation. Ask about eligible and pending redemptions before confirming.
Can WOW Vegas self-exclusion end early?
The current closure and self-exclusion page says no after the restriction is applied. Ask support to provide the exact term in writing.
