Singapore Pools uses Terminate Account for ordinary account exit. Its account-management FAQ documents the signed-in controls and authenticated phone alternative. Formal exclusion is a separate NCPG process.

Terminate your Singapore Pools account

  1. Do not place another wager. If it is safe to do so without delaying a protective action, let open bets settle and save the current balance and transaction records.
  2. Withdraw available funds and terminate the bank link before account termination when the controls permit it.
  3. On the signed-in website, choose Terminate Account from the left navigation. In the mobile app, open Account and then the termination control. If neither route works, call +65 6786 6688 and give an authenticated termination instruction.
  4. Save the confirmation and ask Customer Service about any unsettled bet or remaining balance that is not explained in the account.

Singapore Pools' Account Terms say termination does not cancel unsettled bets. Remaining funds and later winnings are payable only by cheque after termination and must be claimed within five years; unclaimed money is forfeited after that period.

The current Account Reactivation Guide covers incomplete identity verification and dormant accounts. It does not establish that a voluntarily terminated account can be reopened. Ask Customer Service about the specific account instead of relying on a reopening promise.

Self-exclude from Singapore Pools

Use the NCPG individual application and sign in with Singpass. Applicants must be at least 21. Select one or more of the three categories:

  • both casinos;
  • all jackpot-machine rooms in private clubs; and
  • Singapore Pools online betting.

NCPG says a successful application takes effect immediately and remains open-ended. It is not automatically removed. A person can apply to revoke it only after at least one year, and the current revocation route differs for Singapore citizens and permanent residents and foreigners. The reviewed sources do not establish one universal withdrawal route while excluded; contact Singapore Pools about remaining funds.

What self-exclusion actually does (and doesn't)

It is designed to block play for the period you choose. Whether it covers new sign-ups or can be changed early depends on the operator and jurisdiction; follow the platform-specific details above.

Do not assume self-exclusion deletes account data, stops every message, or covers other sites; exact scope varies. Consider account closure, mailbox controls, and a blocking tool as additional layers.

Stop Singapore Pools emails

On the website, open Account Update > Contact Information. In the app, open Account > Communication Preferences. The current communication guide lets you select topics and channels or select none.

Operational app notifications are separate from subscriptions and may need to be disabled in the device settings. Necessary account, security, or legal messages may still be sent.

You can also use your mailbox's search, filter, and bulk-delete controls. Review the privacy terms and current price before granting any third-party cleanup tool access to your inbox.

Frequently asked questions

Is Singapore Pools the only licensed remote-gambling operator?

GRA lists Singapore Pools as the only operator licensed to provide remote gambling services in Singapore. Its current licence runs for five years from 25 October 2025. That narrower statement does not mean Singapore Pools is the only lawful gambling operator or activity of every type.

Does NCPG exclusion cover every gambling category?

Only the categories selected in the application are covered. Choose Singapore Pools online betting and each venue category you want blocked.

Can a terminated Singapore Pools account be reopened?

The current reactivation guide does not answer that question for voluntarily terminated accounts. Contact Singapore Pools for the specific account. Use NCPG self-exclusion when you need a separate open-ended barrier.

Does termination delete personal data?

The reviewed sources do not establish that it does. Account termination and a privacy or data-rights request are separate processes. Use Singapore Pools' current privacy contact or policy for a separate request, and do not assume a particular deletion outcome or completion time.
