Closure and self-exclusion are different
McLuck's current terms describe ordinary account closure through Customer Support. Its Player Safety policy separately describes time-outs and formal self-exclusion. Choose the control that matches the barrier you need.

Review Virtual Coins and pending redemptions
McLuck's terms say ordinary closure forfeits Virtual Coins. Check Gold Coins, Sweeps Coins, pending redemptions, disputes, and records before sending the request. Ask Customer Support how an unresolved item will be handled; do not make another purchase or play to empty the account.
Contact current Customer Support
Use the live official McLuck support centre and ask for account closure. The terms reviewed do not publish a completion time or a universal identity-document list.
Account Closure Request
Adapt this request to the options the platform currently offers
This template is not pre-addressed. Use the platform’s current official contact route and confirm where this request should be sent.
- Send from the email address on your McLuck account
- Keep a copy of your sent email for your records
Save the outcome
Keep the support case and written confirmation. Ordinary closure may later be reopened under the current policy, so save a separate self-exclusion confirmation if you use the stronger restriction too.
Self-exclude from McLuck
McLuck's current Player Safety policy distinguishes:
- Time-out: 1 to 30 days.
- Self-exclusion: 1 month to 1 year.
In the signed-in account, use Customer Account → Player Trust & Safety Controls → Self-Exclusion. The policy says self-exclusion cannot be reversed before the selected period expires. After expiry, the account remains closed until you contact McLuck; the policy then applies a 24-hour cooling-off period before access can resume.
Read the current confirmation screen and ask Customer Support to confirm which products, accounts, and jurisdictions the restriction covers.
An operator self-exclusion is not automatically the same as a state programme or a restriction at another sweepstakes site.
What self-exclusion actually does (and doesn't)
It is designed to block play for the period you choose. Whether it covers new sign-ups or can be changed early depends on the operator and jurisdiction; follow the platform-specific details above.
Do not assume self-exclusion deletes account data, stops every message, or covers other sites; exact scope varies. Consider account closure, mailbox controls, and a blocking tool as additional layers.
Stop McLuck emails
McLuck's current terms direct users who want to stop promotional messages to use the channel-specific controls in its current privacy policy:
- Email: use the message's unsubscribe link, change the preference in Profile, or contact Customer Support.
- Text or telephone marketing: follow the policy's
STOP1instruction or change the preference in Profile. - Push notifications: use the notification settings on the device.
Keep the support case or preference confirmation. The reviewed terms do not publish a processing time. Necessary account, security, transaction, or legal messages may continue, and marketing opt-out does not close or self-exclude the account.
You can also use your mailbox's search, filter, and bulk-delete controls. Review the privacy terms and current price before granting any third-party cleanup tool access to your inbox.
Frequently asked questions
Does McLuck closure erase all account data?
The current terms describe account closure, not guaranteed deletion of every record. Treat a privacy request as a separate action.
Can a closed McLuck account be reopened?
The current policy says an ordinarily closed account may later be reopened. Formal self-exclusion is the time-limited control it says cannot be reversed before expiry. After that period, the account remains closed until the user contacts McLuck and completes the documented 24-hour cooling-off period.
What happens to Virtual Coins on closure?
McLuck's terms say closure forfeits Virtual Coins. Confirm how any pending redemption or dispute will be handled before closing.
