Fun Club and online play, not retail exclusion
Kentucky Lottery's privacy policy defines Fun Club as the account that also supports eligible iLottery online play. This guide does not establish a block on buying retail tickets. Its registration page requires physical presence in Kentucky for purchases; the service is for adults 18+.
Winnings become inaccessible after exclusion
The Lottery's protection guidance says to cash out winnings first: they cannot be accessed after self-exclusion. Deposited funds are not returned and existing second-chance entries are lost. Do not gamble through a deposit to make it withdrawable. If returning to the account feels unsafe, contact support about protection and unresolved money; independent help does not require finishing this task.
Permanently close Fun Club through self-exclusion
Close permanently through self-exclusion
The official self-exclusion page explicitly identifies Permanent as the way to close the account forever. This is not an ordinary reversible closure or a verified data-deletion route.
Resolve the money warning without further play
Read the warning above. Ask support about any pending withdrawal, unplayed draw ticket, subscription or unresolved prize before assuming it will be refunded or cancelled. The reviewed pages do not settle those outcomes.
Choose the permanent option
Sign in to the existing Fun Club account, open My Account → Self-Exclusion, and select Permanent. Do not create another account.
Read the confirmation and keep the result
Review the warnings and confirm only the action you intend. Permanent exclusion cannot be undone and does not permit a new account later. Keep the confirmation; if the page reports an error, ask support to verify whether protection is active rather than assuming it succeeded.
For assistance, the official contact page lists 877-789-4532 and help@kylottery.com. It quotes 1–2 business days for email responses, not an exclusion-completion deadline; phone hours are not published there. Do not email passwords, payment details, date of birth or a Social Security number. Ask for a secure process if verification is needed.

Self-exclude from Kentucky Lottery Fun Club
Permanent exclusion and timed breaks are different
Under the self-exclusion page above, a fixed-term exclusion ends with automatic account reopening. Permanent does not. The Lottery's protection overview describes exclusions from six months through permanent and blocks account access, online play and promotions during the selected period.
The separate Take a Break option is a shorter timeout. It cannot be reversed during its term and access returns automatically afterward. Marketing suppression during a timeout is best-effort; already-dispatched material may still arrive. Neither option should be used as a workaround for a profile or identity-verification problem.
What self-exclusion actually does (and doesn't)
It is designed to block play for the period you choose. Whether it covers new sign-ups or can be changed early depends on the operator and jurisdiction; follow the platform-specific details above.
Do not assume self-exclusion deletes account data, stops every message, or covers other sites; exact scope varies. Consider mailbox controls and a blocking tool as additional layers.
Stop Kentucky Lottery Fun Club emails
Stop marketing separately when needed
The privacy policy allows profile marketing opt-out, a written request or the unsubscribe instructions in an email. Necessary membership, account and transactional messages are separate. The protection overview says self-exclusion stops Lottery marketing, but social-media follows must be removed separately. Unsubscribing alone does not close or restrict the account.
You can also use your mailbox's search, filter, and bulk-delete controls. Review the privacy terms and current price before granting any third-party cleanup tool access to your inbox.
Frequently asked questions
Does permanent exclusion erase my information?
No erasure promise is established. The privacy policy retains information under applicable retention schedules and state law; where none applies, it does not promise a fixed deletion date. Ask about records separately without reopening the account.
What happens to a future draw, subscription or pending withdrawal?
The published protection pages explain winnings, deposits and second-chance entries, but do not resolve every purchased ticket, future draw, subscription or pending withdrawal. Ask Customer Service about the specific item; do not assume a refund, cancellation or automatic payment. Do not delay urgently needed help while resolving it.
Can I get support without visiting the Lottery?
Use our US support page, international support directory or US treatment guide. Removing an app alone is not the confirmed self-exclusion procedure described here.
