Keep your barriers in place
Keep your gambling blocker enabled. Do not whitelist the site, register again, buy a package, install an app or place a bet to finish an account task. If the portal is blocked or unsafe to open, use the published contact below to ask for an accessible route. Urgent help and international support are available before any task.
This covers an existing At The Races media account, not a bookmaker or a separate games service. Public primary sources were checked November 2, 2026; no signed-in process, deletion, cancellation or refund outcome was tested.
Request At The Races account deletion
The public My ATR Portal exposes Delete My Account, Manage My Subscriptions and Unsubscribe From Tracker Emails as separate controls. It requires login to manage the account.
Handle paid renewal separately
If you have ATR Player, read the cancellation section below and keep the billing confirmation you need before removing account access. Do not assume account deletion cancels a paid subscription.
Use the account-deletion control
If safe, use your existing login and choose My ATR Portal → Delete My Account. Follow the prompts actually displayed; no final button sequence was verified. Do not remove a blocker to reach it.
Check the outcome
Keep confirmation privately. A request is not proof of completed deletion. No completion deadline, recovery window or scope of erased data was verified.
If the portal is inaccessible, ask info@attheraces.com about an accessible
account-deletion route. The terms
publish that contact, but an email-only deletion procedure was not verified.
Do not send passwords, one-time codes, full payment details, gambling history
or unrequested identity documents. Ask for secure verification if needed;
Guarding Gamblers cannot access or delete your account.
Cancel ATR Player separately
The FAQ describes ATR Player as a rolling monthly subscription that renews automatically until cancelled, available in the UK and Ireland. It directs cancellation to My ATR Portal → Manage My Subscriptions.
The still-published ATR Player terms,
dated January 2017, instead require at least 30 days' written notice by
email to info@attheraces.com. The portal and email instructions do not fully
agree. We did not verify that either instruction overrides the other.
To cover both published routes, you can complete the portal cancellation request and also send explicit cancellation notice to that address. Ask for the applicable notice, final charge and effective end date. If the portal is blocked, send notice by email and ask how to finish cancellation without opening racing content. Sending notice alone is not proof that billing has ended. Keep written confirmation and check the next bill; no response-time guarantee was found.
No ordinary cancellation refund amount or entitlement was verified. The old terms also contain dated cooling-off wording; this guide does not present it as current law or promise a universal cooling-off period. Ask about a disputed charge separately; cancellation does not guarantee a refund.
Check the service on your receipt
The FAQ explicitly separates ATR Player from a Sky or Virgin TV package. This page does not cancel a television package or establish a shared Sky betting account. Use an existing receipt to identify the service and biller.
Using an iPhone or Android app does not establish app-store billing. No Apple-billed or Google Play-billed ATR Player cancellation procedure was verified here. Do not buy again to investigate a charge. A deleted app or unavailable login is not proof that renewal has stopped.
At The Races self-exclusion status
Keep bookmaker protection separate
No formal At The Races self-exclusion procedure was verified. This page does not close or self-exclude a separate bookmaker account or cancel a wager. Use the platform directory for the wagering operator's own account and protection instructions.
Keep independent blocking tools in place. You can step away from racing content and use urgent support while a billing, account or privacy request remains unresolved.
Stop At The Races emails
Stop tracker and marketing emails separately
The portal lists Unsubscribe From Tracker Emails. That tracker control is not confirmation that billing or the account has ended.
The privacy policy, version-dated
January 1, 2021, describes a Preference Centre link in emails and
info@attheraces.com for marketing opt-out. Use an existing email if opening
the site would undermine a blocker. No suppression deadline was verified.
You can also use your mailbox's search, filter, and bulk-delete controls. Review the privacy terms and current price before granting any third-party cleanup tool access to your inbox.
Frequently asked questions
Does account deletion erase every record?
Not established. The privacy policy describes retention for the necessary duration, not a fixed deletion deadline. Ask what remains if that matters to you. The portal control's label is not proof that every record is erased immediately; account deletion, a privacy request and marketing opt-out are not interchangeable.
Can I get help before cancellation finishes?
Yes. Urgent help and support outside the United States remain available. You do not need to complete a subscription, account or privacy request first.
