Sorare France: Spending Limits and Self-Exclusion

Find Sorare's France-only JONUM spending and time limits, temporary self-exclusion rules, and support for unclear wallet, card or existing-lineup outcomes.

Last updated on Oct 22, 2026

If you already use Sorare from France, its published JONUM controls let you reduce spending and playing-time limits or choose temporary self-exclusion. These are different actions: a limit leaves some activity available, while self-exclusion stops participation in JONUM competitions for the selected term.

If opening the site would make an urge harder to manage, leave the account task for now. Keep your gambling blocker enabled; do not disable it or whitelist Sorare to follow this guide. Use the immediate urge-support toolkit or international support directory. If you cannot stay safe, seek urgent help without completing an account action first.

Check that this France-only guidance applies

Sorare's JONUM explanation says these rules concern users located in France, not users worldwide. JONUM is France's framework for games with monetizable digital objects. Sorare identifies covered competitions by their rewards, including collectible cards; do not assume every game mode or account feature has the same controls.

The French regulator's JONUM guidance limits access to adults and lists Sorare offers as declared. A declaration is not a guarantee of compliance or proof of the same coverage as a licensed sportsbook. This guide is for existing adult users, not instructions to join.

Outside France, ask Sorare support which restrictions are available for your account. Do not change your location or use another account to try to obtain or bypass a control.

Reduce the Gaming Limits in My Account

Sorare's Gaming Limits help page gives the public route and rules:

  1. Open My Account in your existing account and find Gaming Limits.
  2. Review the spending limit for cards or Gems. It is set in euros and includes cryptocurrency spending. It is not described as a deposit limit.
  3. Review the playing-time limit, which counts active time on JONUM participation interfaces, including team composition—not all time online.
  4. Check the reset date in Account settings. The limits use 7-day periods. Reductions take effect immediately. Increases are delayed, but the help page gives differing timing descriptions: 48 hours later in one answer and within 48 hours in another. Ask support rather than assume an exact activation time.

When a spending limit is reached, new card or Gem purchases stop until the next period. Reaching the time limit stops composing JONUM teams until reset. The help page says a reached limit cannot be changed before the next period starts. Changing an unreached limit does not restart the current period.

We have not tested signed-in screens. Save the confirmation privately and ask support if the labels or effect differ. Do not make a purchase to test a limit, or treat the remaining allowance as money you should spend.

If you need a break from JONUM participation

Sorare's separate Self-Exclusion help page describes a temporary restriction for users in France:

  • You choose a duration from 24 hours to 12 months.
  • Once confirmed, it immediately prevents participation in JONUM competitions for that duration.
  • Once validated, it cannot be cancelled. Sorare also says attempts by the same user to create a new account will be blocked.

The public article does not give the exact self-exclusion menu path. Do not mistake the verified My Account route for limits for a verified exclusion path. If you cannot find the control, use Submit a request and ask for the current France/JONUM self-exclusion route and confirmation of its activation. Sending a support request is not proof that exclusion is active.

This is not a verified global Sorare block, permanent exclusion or account deletion. The published effect does not establish a block on every game mode, login, marketplace feature or wallet, or on other companies' services.

Ask about existing lineups, cards and funds separately

The reviewed live help pages do not explain what voluntary self-exclusion does to existing lineups, pending rewards, cards, marketplace offers or wallet access. Do not assume those are preserved, cancelled, forfeited or immediately withdrawable.

If relevant, save existing records privately if it is safe to do so, then ask Sorare support:

  • What happens to a lineup already submitted and any pending reward?
  • How can I resolve existing cards, offers or funds while the restriction stays on?
  • Is there a secure support-assisted route if I cannot access the account?

Do not deposit, buy, trade or enter again to resolve the account. Do not delay needed protection solely because these outcomes are unclear. Account deletion is a separate decision, not a shortcut to the restriction described here; obtain clear instructions about existing assets before requesting it. This guide does not verify a deletion procedure or promise personal-data erasure.

Get help without sharing unnecessary private information

Use the official Sorare support form, not an unsolicited message offering account recovery. Explain the control you need and ask for its scope, effective date and a reference number. Do not send passwords, wallet recovery phrases, one-time codes or full payment details. If verification is requested, confirm the official secure process first. Guarding Gamblers does not need your account records or support conversation.

For support appropriate to where you live, use the international directory. The gambling-blocker comparison and gambling-ad reduction guide describe extra layers, not guaranteed coverage of Sorare. For other accounts, use the account-help directory; one restriction does not establish another.

Live public Help Center and ANJ sources checked on 22 October 2026. Exact signed-in screens and the unresolved asset outcomes above were not verified.
