How to Cancel a ClubWPT Membership

To cancel a ClubWPT VIP, Diamond or Super SATurdays membership, the membership terms direct you to Manage My Membership in the game client. If returning to the lobby feels unsafe or you cannot sign in, the official FAQ also provides a cancellation email route: cancel@theclubservices.com.

This guide concerns subscription memberships at clubwpt.com, operated by Club Services, Inc. It is not for ClubWPT Gold or its GoldMember subscription; use the separate ClubWPT Gold guide for that product. Cancelling a membership is not proof of account deletion or self-exclusion. Independent support is available without returning to the game or waiting for a reply.

Cancel in your account

Section 20 of the ClubWPT membership terms says to sign in to the game client and open Manage My Membership for cancellation instructions. Check which membership you are ending, then follow the cancellation instructions shown there.

We have not verified the signed-in screens or a final confirmation message. An older public step-by-step cancellation page was unavailable during this review, so we do not reproduce its button sequence. If the current controls are missing or unclear, use the email route below instead of guessing.

Cancel by email or when you cannot sign in

The cancellation FAQ lists cancel@theclubservices.com and asks for your ClubWPT username, first and last name, account email address and phone number as held on the account. State which membership you want cancelled. Send those details only to the official operator, not to Guarding Gamblers. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or gambling history.

The FAQ says it processes cancellation requests within 48 hours. This is the operator's stated processing period, not a verified response guarantee or a promise that an email sent close to renewal prevents a charge.

For a login problem or general account question, the support page lists members@theclubservices.com. Official pages disagree on phone numbers and hours, so this guide does not choose a phone schedule for you.

Check renewal and keep a private record

Section 9.5 of the membership terms sets a five-day advance cutoff for cancellation without the next billing period's charge. It says fees already accrued are not refunded. Check your own renewal date and act promptly; if it is closer than five days, ask which charge and end date the operator will apply rather than assuming cancellation is too late to request or that a refund is guaranteed.

If you are on a trial, check its exact end date. The terms describe billing when a trial expires unless it has been cancelled. Do not rely on simply leaving the account unused.

Keep the submitted request, resulting account status and any operator reply privately. Ask for the membership end date and confirmation that renewal has stopped if the result is unclear. This record-keeping advice does not mean the operator promises a confirmation email.

Pending prizes and Tournament Points

The FAQ says membership benefits and Tournament Points stop being available when cancellation is complete and the billing term has ended. Tournament Points are not a cash balance.

The same FAQ places eligible prizes under Information and Security → My Prizes. The sources reviewed do not establish what voluntary membership cancellation does to pending prizes or tournament registrations. Ask account support about those particular items; do not assume automatic payment, preservation or forfeiture. If logging in feels unsafe, ask by email. You do not need to play more or buy another membership to ask for help with a pending item.

Membership cancellation is not an account block

ClubWPT publishes a reactivation page for previous VIP or Diamond members using an existing account. That is why this guide does not describe subscription cancellation as permanent account closure. The exact free-account features that remain after cancellation were not established by this review.

No current user-initiated account-closure or formal self-exclusion procedure was verified. Ask account support separately about restricting access and whether a restriction can be reversed. Marketing and personal-data requests are separate

The ClubWPT Privacy Policy describes marketing-email unsubscribe links; administrative messages may continue. Cancelling billing does not establish that promotional messages have stopped.

The policy lists privacy@wpt.com for privacy questions and requests. Deletion rights depend on where you live, with verification and retention exceptions. A privacy request is not proof that membership billing has stopped or that every record will be erased. Ask for a secure verification route if required; do not send sensitive documents to this site.
