Close your Underdog Fantasy account

Request closure through the current account support route

If it is safe, record the account state

When doing so will not delay a needed access restriction, note the withdrawable balance, pending withdrawal, unfinished fantasy contests, open Prediction positions, and any unresolved support case. Do not deposit, enter another contest, or open another position to empty the account.

Underdog's current Fantasy Terms say balance withdrawals can be subject to compliance and anti-fraud checks. The public closure article does not publish one outcome for every unfinished contest or Prediction position.

Open Account and Contact Support

In the current Underdog product, open Account → Contact Support. The current account closure and reopening article identifies this as the ordinary closure route.

The current Fantasy Terms also say a Fantasy user may request termination at support@underdogfantasy.com. Use an address only for the product named by the current source; do not assume that it reaches a separate Prediction or exchange account.

Close Fantasy now and identify anything separate

Ask Support to close the Underdog Fantasy account now. In the same request, ask it to identify every separate Prediction, FCM, or exchange relationship that remains open and explain what happens to its positions, cash, pending transfers, and records.

If an unresolved open position makes immediate closure unsafe for your circumstances, use the same message as a scope check and say clearly that Support must not delay the Fantasy access restriction.

Hello Underdog Support, Please close my Underdog Fantasy account now. Registered email or username: [One Non-Sensitive Account Identifier] Please also confirm: - the effective Fantasy closure date and case or reference number; - what happens to my Fantasy balance, pending withdrawal, and unfinished contests; - which separate Prediction Picks, Underdog Predict, FCM, or exchange accounts this Fantasy closure does not close; - what happens to any open Prediction positions and whether a separate request is required; and - whether this ordinary Fantasy closure can later be reopened. This is an account-closure request. I understand that personal-data deletion is a separate privacy request. Please use an official secure route if identity verification is required. I will not send a password, one-time code, full payment details, or unrequested identity documents through an ordinary message. [Your Name] [Date]

Keep the response and closure confirmation

Save the request, product-scope answer, case number, and final response. Underdog does not publish an ordinary closure completion time.

Ordinary closure can be reopened

Underdog's current closure article says a user-requested closed account can be reopened through Support after ownership verification using a government ID and a selfie holding that ID. That makes ordinary closure different from a non-cancellable self-exclusion period.

Use only the secure verification route Underdog provides. Do not send identity documents through an address or form copied from an old guide.

Personal-data deletion is a separate request

Underdog's current Global Privacy Policy covers Fantasy, Underdog Predict, and Underdog Exchange and describes a separate deletion request through a Privacy Request Center. It also describes identity checks and legal, regulatory, contractual, fraud, and other retention exceptions.

The policy says applicable privacy requests receive a response within 45 days. That is not a promise that every record is erased within 45 days. The request center's current host did not resolve when this guide was checked. Use the policy for the latest route and ask the documented Fantasy privacy contact, support@underdogsports.com, for help locating the current deletion form. Do not send identity documents through ordinary email.

The former sportsbook was limited to North Carolina and is closed

The North Carolina regulator's closure notice says Underdog stopped accepting sportsbook wagers on December 16, 2025. The current approved-operator list no longer includes Underdog.

Do not use historical Sports Betting Terms as evidence that Underdog currently operates a general sportsbook. A former North Carolina sportsbook balance or record issue may require the current shutdown support route rather than the Fantasy closure steps above.

Self-exclude from Underdog Fantasy

Use cool-off for a short fixed break

Underdog's current Cool-Off article lists 3 days, 7 days, 30 days, 3 months, 6 months, or 9 months.

Open Account → Preferences → Responsible Gaming Limits → Cool-Off. The article says the selected break cannot be undone, immediately logs the account out, and automatically re-enables access when the period expires. It says unsettled contests settle and Support can arrange payment of winnings.

The public article does not establish what this Fantasy control does to every Prediction, FCM, or exchange account or open position. Ask Support to confirm that scope before relying on it for those products.

Formal self-exclusion exists, but current terms conflict

Underdog's current self-exclusion help article lists 1, 3, 5, or 10 years, or lifetime. Current Fantasy Terms instead list 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, 5 years, or 10 years.

The same sources also differ on some unsettled-contest, winnings, and deposit effects. Neither establishes one universal result for Prediction accounts and open positions. This guide therefore does not present either list or balance rule as the definitive current contract.

Open the responsible-gaming area shown in the signed-in product and read the confirmation screen. Before choosing, ask Support to confirm in writing:

  • the periods currently available to this account;
  • the exact products, jurisdictions, and account relationships covered;
  • the start and end dates and whether early removal is possible;
  • what happens to deposits, withdrawable funds, pending withdrawals, unfinished contests, winnings, and open Prediction positions; and
  • whether marketing stops and whether a regulator programme is separate.

Self-Exclusion Request

Request the exclusion period and scope you want

This template is not pre-addressed. Use the platform’s current official contact route and confirm where this request should be sent.

Message text
Hello Underdog Support, I need the current formal self-exclusion options for my Underdog account. Registered email or username: [One Non-Sensitive Account Identifier] Before I select a period, please confirm: - the periods currently available to this account and whether any option can end early; - the exact Fantasy, Prediction Picks, Underdog Predict, FCM, and exchange accounts covered; - what happens to deposits, withdrawable funds, pending withdrawals, unfinished contests, winnings, and open Prediction positions; - whether direct marketing stops; and - whether a separate regulator-run programme is required in my jurisdiction. Please provide a case or reference number. I will not send a password, one-time code, full payment details, or unrequested identity documents through an ordinary message. [Your Name] [Date]

If immediate access restriction matters more than resolving a balance question, tell Support that clearly. Do not open another account to bypass a restriction.

What self-exclusion actually does (and doesn't)

It is designed to block play for the period you choose. Whether it covers new sign-ups or can be changed early depends on the operator and jurisdiction; follow the platform-specific details above.

Do not assume self-exclusion deletes account data, stops every message, or covers other sites; exact scope varies. Consider account closure, mailbox controls, and a blocking tool as additional layers.

Stop Underdog Fantasy emails

Stop marketing separately

Underdog's current Global Privacy Policy says to use the unsubscribe control in an applicable marketing email or the applicable product-specific support contact. It does not publish a numeric completion time.

Operational, security, transaction, legal, responsible-gaming, and other necessary messages may continue. Marketing opt-out does not close, self-exclude, or delete the account.

You can also use your mailbox's search, filter, and bulk-delete controls. Review the privacy terms and current price before granting any third-party cleanup tool access to your inbox.

Frequently asked questions

What if the Privacy Request Center is unavailable?

The request center's current host did not resolve when this guide was checked. Use the current Global Privacy Policy for the latest route and ask support@underdogsports.com for help locating the deletion form. Do not send identity documents through ordinary email.

Does closing an Underdog account delete personal data?

No current source reviewed supports that promise. Ordinary closure and a privacy deletion request are separate actions, and the privacy policy describes retention exceptions.

Is ordinary Underdog closure permanent?

Not necessarily. The current closure article says a user-requested closed account can be reopened through Support after ownership verification. Formal self-exclusion is the stronger restriction when a non-cancellable period is needed.

Which formal self-exclusion periods are available?

Current first-party sources conflict. The help article lists 1, 3, 5, or 10 years, or lifetime; current Fantasy Terms list 3 months, 6 months, 1, 3, 5, or 10 years. Read the signed-in confirmation and ask Support to state the exact period and product scope before selecting.

Does one closure or self-exclusion cover Prediction Picks?

The public material reviewed does not establish that result for every Prediction, FCM, or exchange account or open position. Ask Support to confirm each account relationship and product in writing.
