How to Close a Novig Account

Check available funds without trading again

If safe, use Account → Withdraw, choose the amount and method, then confirm. Novig's withdrawal guide states there is no playthrough requirement and a $10 minimum. Do not deposit or trade to reach a minimum; ask support about a smaller balance.

Flag anything that is not yet withdrawable

Verification and open positions can hold funds. Processing deposits are also unavailable until cleared. Record pending items and ask how they will be handled. If immediate restriction is more important, use Time Out and ask support for a money-handling plan rather than continuing to trade.

Send the closure request

The account-management help directs closure requests to Live Chat or support@novig.co, with subject CLOSE MY ACCOUNT. Ask for an effective date and case reference.

The Member Agreement, section 20, describes notice before outstanding positions may be liquidated and return of remaining funds, subject to amounts owed and other conditions. Rule 3.7 allows membership withdrawal to be postponed or conditioned. Neither is an instant-closure or automatic-refund promise. Ask support for the exact handling of open positions, processing deposits, pending withdrawals and any credits.

Use Novig's fixed Time Out

Novig's current responsible-trading help labels this Self-Exclusion (Time Out):

  1. Open Account → settings gear → Time Out.
  2. Choose 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 1 month, 3 months or 6 months.
  3. Read the confirmation before submitting. Novig says neither you nor support can change, shorten or lift it early. It blocks account access and trading during the selected term.

This is an operator restriction, not enrollment in a statutory or regulator-run register. Do not assume it covers another platform or erases account data. The help page says limits require email confirmation; it does not make Time Out activation timing fully clear. Check the confirmation and contact Live Chat if the restriction is not shown. Withdrawal access during Time Out and automatic return at expiry are not established in the reviewed instructions.

The Responsible Trading Policy, Rule 14.5, prohibits directed promotional messages during cooling-off or platform self-exclusion. Report any continuing promotion to support; necessary account communications are different.

What this operator block does (and doesn't)

This is the operator's own access restriction for the published term and scope. It is not enrollment in a regulator-run or statutory self-exclusion program.

Do not assume the block deletes account data, stops every message, or covers unrelated companies. Follow the product-specific scope above and request written confirmation.

Stop Novig emails

You can also use your mailbox's search, filter, and bulk-delete controls. Review the privacy terms and current price before granting any third-party cleanup tool access to your inbox.

Frequently asked questions

Does closure delete personal information?

No. The current Privacy Policy provides qualified deletion requests through support@novig.co. Legal, contractual and financial-privacy exceptions can limit deletion. Ask for a secure verification route, not a promise that every record will disappear.

Can a closed Novig account be reopened?

The official account help has conflicting permanent-closure and reactivation wording. Keep the written answer for your account. Do not create a replacement account or assume closure is an irreversible protection.

What if location restrictions prevent a withdrawal?

Novig's eligibility help describes a 21+ U.S. product and says withdrawals are unavailable while physically in Arizona, Nevada or Michigan, though existing positions still settle. Contact support about access to your funds; do not bypass location controls. Operator eligibility is not a blanket legal opinion.
