Ask human support for ordinary closure

The official account-action guide directs ordinary closure to a human support agent through chat. Pending orders and withdrawals must be resolved. Ask the agent to identify those items and confirm the account status when closure is completed.

Closure forfeits unsold or unwithdrawn gems and items. Although an ordinary closed account can usually be reopened, that does not restore forfeited value. Do not close first on the assumption you can retrieve everything later. Equally, do not buy more boxes or spend remaining value to finish the account task; ask about the available administrative withdrawal or item-fulfillment route.

Cancel the recurring subscription as a separate task

Check your subscription receipt and the billing-management route identified by Boxed.GG. Ask support to confirm where cancellation must be completed, then save the cancellation confirmation independently of account closure. The official guide explicitly says closure and exclusion leave Stripe subscription billing untouched.

Keep the account reference, pending-item record and billing confirmation privately. There is no need to send a password or full card number in a first support message. If identity verification is required, ask for the official secure process.

Use the separate spending restriction when needed

The account-action guide documents self-exclusion in Account Settings for one, three, seven, fourteen or thirty days. During it, spending and box opening are blocked, while withdrawals and marketplace access remain available. The term cannot be shortened.

This is a different option from ordinary closure. If access is causing harm while an order remains pending, ask for the protective restriction without waiting for every administrative issue to finish.
