This guide covers the documented Melbet route. Read the scope below: an operator-only, game-category, and regulator-run exclusion can have different coverage. It does not claim account-data deletion or a balance outcome unless the cited source states one.

Use the signed-in formal self-exclusion control

The current Melbet rules distinguish short cooling-off from formal self-exclusion. The formal route is for the Pelican-operated melbet.com service; it is not a government or multi-operator scheme.

Open Activate Self-Exclusion

Sign in to the account and open the responsible-gambling control labelled Activate Self-Exclusion.

Choose the exact scope

Select either the listed product categories you want blocked or all Melbet gambling services. Do not assume a category-only choice blocks everything.

Choose the formal period

The current rules list 1, 3, 5, or 10 years, or lifetime. The chosen formal term cannot be shortened or reversed.

Acknowledge, submit, and save the result

Read the displayed terms, submit for activation, and save the selected scope, period, and confirmation. Melbet describes activation as immediate and says the online process takes no more than 15 minutes.

Check balances and open wagers before activation

The reviewed rules do not publish a general balance-withdrawal route during self-exclusion. They describe narrow exceptions for an in-running tournament and an unresolved ante-post wager until conclusion, but do not explain every settlement or access outcome. Ask support about the account-specific result before activating. Do not place another wager to try to unlock funds.

I understand that the selected formal period cannot be ended early. Please do not treat this message as a request to restore a previously excluded account. [Your Name] [Date]

Formal self-exclusion removes the person from promotional marketing. Melbet says it applies the selected restriction across its platforms and domains and checks for duplicate accounts, but the rules do not enumerate every covered domain. Do not treat this as coverage of unrelated operators.

Know the reopening boundary

A finite formal exclusion does not reactivate automatically. After the selected term expires, Melbet's rules require a written restoration request to license@melbet.com. That address is for post-term restoration, not the initial self-exclusion request, and restoration is not guaranteed. A lifetime selection has no ordinary expiry.

For support outside the operator, use the maintained international gambling-support directory.
